A Bit About Me

Mahnissa Maneerut, known as Mandi, began her career as a writer, where her journey into self-expression and healing first took root. At the age of 19, under the pen name Queen B, Mandi captured national attention by winning two prestigious fiction awards in 2012. Her gift for storytelling and her ability to weave emotions into words became her creative foundation. However, her focus shifted inward as she began to explore her own life experiences, particularly her struggles with depression and the challenges of navigating cultural and societal expectations.

This introspection led her to release her first nonfiction book, Depression Diary (It’s Not as Sad as You Think), in 2017. The book became a groundbreaking work in Thailand, opening up candid conversations about mental health and offering readers a sensitive yet humorous perspective on depression. For Mandi, this was not just a literary achievement—it was her first step in publicly sharing her truth and connecting with others on a deeply personal level. Writing became her way of bridging the gap between her inner struggles and the outside world, fostering a sense of empathy and understanding that would later become central to her work as a Shadow Coach.

As Mandi's creative journey evolved, she turned to visual art as a way to express the parts of herself that words could not fully capture. Collage and acrylic painting became powerful tools for emotional exploration, allowing her to confront her shadows and rebuild herself through the act of creation. This artistic evolution mirrored her personal transformation, as she learned to embrace both the light and shadow within her life. The themes of healing, integration, and self-discovery that emerged through her art naturally extended into her coaching philosophy.

Mandi’s transition into coaching was inspired by her own experiences of confronting her inner shadows and reconnecting with her inner child. Writing had taught her the power of storytelling and self-reflection, and art had shown her the healing potential of creative expression. These elements formed the foundation of her coaching approach, which combines Jungian psychology, creative practices, and spiritual insights. As a Shadow Coach, she guides individuals to explore their own hidden aspects, helping them transform pain into purpose and reclaim their authentic selves.

Mandi’s coaching work reflects the same empathy, resilience, and creativity that defined her early career as a writer. By creating a safe and nurturing space, she helps her clients navigate their inner worlds with compassion and courage. Her journey from storytelling to coaching is a testament to the power of personal transformation and the interconnectedness of creativity, healing, and growth. Through her work, Mandi continues to inspire others to embrace their shadows, rediscover their inner light, and live with authenticity and purpose.
